This Sunday, May 24th, we will be having our 11:00am Worship Service inside for those who wish to come in. We will also be continuing our services in the parking lot for those who do not wish to come in (FM 96.7) and we will be continuing to post all services via FACEBOOK LIVE and our website.
Safety for our congregation and guest is our priority. We are encouraging social distancing in the hallways and sanctuary. We are asking that there be no physical greeting such as handshakes, fist pumps, and elbow bumps to limit contact. You may wish to wear gloves and mask inside but this is not mandatory. We want to provide as safe a condition for worship as possible without throwing out all of the freedoms we enjoy in worship.
The communion and offering will be different. The trays will not be passed at all. Communion Emblems will be offered with individual juice and bread cups. There will be some soft music playing during the communion time and you can come up and take communion at the table a few at a time while observing social distancing. The empty cups can be put into a basket which will also be at the table. An offering box will be placed at the back of the auditorium so that you may place your offering on the way in or on the way out.
Hand Sanitizer and facial tissues will be available as always.
Our indoor services will be limited to the 11:00am worship service only for a few weeks. There will be no fellowship meals for immediate future. We also will be postponing VBS to a later date. As the conditions in our area improve we will begin to add back some of our other programs.
In preparation of meeting together again, We are having a workday on Saturday, May 23rd, starting at 9:30am in order to sanitize all surfaces in our building. We are asking all available people who would like to participate to come. You will be able to social distance and to wear mask and gloves if you like.
You are welcome to come and join us for worship if you feel comfortable in doing so. If not, that is okay. The one thing we want you to understand is that there is no judgment about what you do either way. You must do what is best for you and your family.
We will be having Drive In Church at 11:00am for those who want to come. Just drive to church on Sunday and find a good spot in the parking lot. Stay in your car and tune your FM radio to 96.7 and enjoy the service. Loren will be preaching from the porch so you can see. Ken will be leading the song service (from inside the church). Amanda will be running the sound so that you can here it all on your radio.
We will be having communion service but you are asked to bring your own emblems from home (grape juice and soda crackers will do). We will have a box that you can drive up and put your offering into after the service.
We are sorry to say but restroom facilities will be off limits. To be in compliance with the State of Emergency Order you must stay in your vehicles.
What a blessing to be able to meet even in spite of all this mess caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19).
For those who do not wish to come we will still be doing FACEBOOK LIVE services as well. This service will be available on the website after 1:00pm the new page marked sermons.
You can download a service program and sermon insert below.
Just because the church building is closed doesn't mean we can't worship and fellowship.
